Pre-Disposition: We assist our clients in the preparatory phase of a real estate disposition. This will include, but is not limited to: an exhaustive analysis of current and pro-forma property performance, creation of a detailed strategy and concrete recommendations to maximize the market value of any asset in preparation for disposition.
Disposition: The disposition phase begins with the preparation of marketing packages to maximize exposure, an analysis of the current state of the market, determination of final pricing schemes and the creation of a narrative for proper negotiation.
Post-Disposition: The sale of a real estate asset generally triggers tax liability and strict compliance timelines for tax deferment. Regardless of whether an investor seeks to exit from or reinvest in the real estate market, optimization of the efficacy of a real estate investment requires a predetermined post-disposition plan. We work with several Section 1031 exchange intermediaries and other facilitative mechanisms to maximize tax deference and avoid any pitfalls arising from the use of Section 1031.
